Especially inspired by the colour palettes, dynamic style and shape techniques of artists like Matisse, DeAngelis and Zulu, these notebooks combine my interest in portraiture with an inspirational theme that pays tribute to not only significant academic and creative fields, but also to the women who have contributed so much to them. The notebooks feature Jane Goodall, Sylvia Plath, and Mirka Mora surrounded by indicators of their legacy and skill.
